Jiangsu Ranbao Attends Safety Production Supervision (Inspection) Work Promotion Meeting

On March 6th, Wu Jiankun, Deputy Director of the Municipal Safety Commission Office and Deputy Director of the Emergency Management Bureau, presided over a citywide safety production supervision (inspection) work promotion meeting. Yue Jun, Director of the Municipal Safety Commission Office and Director of the Emergency Management Bureau, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting pointed out that in the past year, under the leadership of the leaders of various supervision (inspection) groups, 7 supervision groups and 6 inspection groups in the city have fulfilled their duties and responsibilities, and have done a lot of in-depth and meticulous work to strengthen the safety production responsibility chain and improve the intrinsic safety level of Changzhou.

The meeting requires a combination of "problem rectification" and "experience summary". Each inspection and supervision team should take the discovery of safety hazards as the starting point for their inspection and supervision work. They should wear a magnifying glass to inspect problems throughout the process, use a "scale" to measure shortcomings, and present a "task book" to see implementation. On the one hand, we must adhere to a problem-oriented approach, and on the other hand, we must seek true knowledge from grassroots practice. Secondly, we need to combine "disciplinary accountability" with "solving practical problems". Each inspection and supervision team should take promoting the resolution of practical issues as the "foothold" of the inspection and supervision work. On the one hand, it is necessary to notify, warn, and interview relevant responsible persons of units who fail to implement their responsibilities, take inadequate measures, and fail to promote effectively, and propose suggestions for accountability; On the other hand, we should actively guide and help grassroots solve practical problems in safety production work. We must combine "self-inspection" with "public reporting". Each inspection and supervision team should take the consolidation and improvement of the city's safety governance level and capacity as the "foothold" of the inspection and supervision work. On the one hand, it should go deep into the grassroots and enterprise frontline to carry out inspection and supervision, and on the other hand, it should further inspect the actual effect of the reporting and handling mechanism.
